River Rock
Driving Directions:
From Reno head out on I80 West. River rock is on east side of the highway just before you hit the Sierra/Nevada County Line. You will have to flip around at the the Farad Exit (head back on I80 East) to get to the pull out. It's the big dirt pull out with the locked gate at the south end about .6 of a mile from the Sierra County Line.

*Riverrock has a few mostly high and easy problems. A fun place if your looking for an session of something new, but not too much more.

Red wave Boulder
1. *!V0 The sloped rocky landing is less then ideal, but the holds are good. The cable is off. If memory serves me their is one respectable crimp early on and the rest is a jug haul.

2. *V1/2 Some slopey crack moves up. Once again the cable is off.

3. **VB Fun, easy crack like holds with a good landing. What's not to like.

4. *V0 Another fun easy crack that stays easy if to you work out rightish on your way up.

5. *V0R! High and easy looking if you ignore how chossy it looks. The holds held for me, but its one you'll want to be careful on.

6. **V1R! Not hard, but it gets high and committing and without someone to slide you pad around it probably isn't going to be where you want it.

Whitewave Boulder

7. ***!V3 Great fun. Start with a good left hand undercling and a crimpy right hand sidepull and with either a cool knee bar or some right hand crimps get a good left hand sidepull then head up the juggy feature from their make a reachy move to a good left hand sidepull and then grab the top and out.
